Support for Rural Farmers
To strengthen agricultural value chains, KSC wants to address: transport, access to improved inputs, credit, index based crop insurance and agricultural extension services. Additionally, the platform will support post harvest processing, chilling and market access to boost local livelihoods and entrepreneurship. Furthermore, the pilot will support the introduction of cash crops through the enrolling of local farmers in outgrower schemes.
